What’s the Trade in Offer

Celebrating 12 years of Sungrow in Australia

To mark Sungrow's 12-year milestone supporting Australian solar, we're excited to share their Trade In promotion.

Trade in an old, working Sungrow inverter and receive a credit on your Supply Partners account, funded by Sungrow. Installers can offer the Trade In to end user customers as an upfront discount or as a rebate after the credit is received. Find the rebate amounts below.

What you need to do now

  1. Review your customer records for eligible Sungrow inverter customers.
  2. Prepare quotes for new inverters/ battery/ system upgrades.
  3. Send emails or call customers to advise them their inverter is eligible for up to $1700 trade in from Sungrow, the cheaper battery rebate and any other state schemes. Share quotes and book site visits.
  4. Register your customers trade in and get the pre approved voucher from Sungrow online form, nominate Supply Partners (ABN 94 155 169 074) as your distributor and get busy installing from July 1st.
  5. Contact Supply Partners to order Sungrow stock with your voucher code from Sungrow.

How to Redeem

Obtain a signed quote from the home owner for the install of the new inverter and battery system (SBR096/SBH200 or above). You can check trade in eligibility using the old inverter serial number here.

Complete the pre-approval online trade in form, pictures of the existing inverter and the installation here.

 
IMPORTANT - Nominate Supply Partners ABN 94 155 169 074 as the distributor.

You will be issued with a pre approved voucher code that can only be used to order via Supply Partners. Order the Sungrow hybrid inverter and batteries from Supply Partners.

Receive the Sungrow hybrid inverter and batteries from Supply Partners.

Install the new system.

Return the old inverter to Sungrow as per warranty process for returning Sungrow equipment. Book the pick up here.

Submit photographs of the new install and the invoice via the Sungrow trade in page for Sungrow to approve.

Once approved you will receive a credit to your Supply Partners account on the next day. If you are a cash customer you will receive the credit off your next Supply Partners order.

Trade In Eligibility

  • Available on selected Sungrow products only.
  • Trade In inverters must be in working order, free of modifications and not damaged.
  • The inverter must be owned by the customer and not under lease from any other party.
  • One inverter trade in per site. If there is more than one inverter on site the inverter of the highest value can be traded in but only one is able to be traded in.
  • The new Sungrow battery system needs to be SBR096/ SBH200 or above.
  • Offer can not be combined with any other Sungrow promotional offers.
  • Installer must be SAA Accredited.
  • The old inverter must have been installed and operational at the customers site for at least 3 months prior.
  • Sungrow do not provide any credits direct to the end user or installer, all credits will be supplied via Supply Partners and will only be paid when the installer follows the correct process as prescribed by Sungrow.

  • Sungrow and Supply Partners reserves the right to amend terms and conditions at their discretion. 

Important Voucher Information

  • The voucher code that is issued is unique and will be tracked. It can only be used once for the nominated value.
  • The voucher is non transferable, tied to the trade in inverters serial number, site, installer, linked to the nominated distributor (Supply Partners ABN 94 155 169 074) and the purchase invoice in the trade in form submission.
  • The voucher code must not be used for multiple sites or parallel purchases.
  • The voucher must be used for the battery(minimum 9.6kWh) and hybrid inverter on the same invoice. 
  • The voucher and credit approval will only be finalised once the hybrid inverter and system are installed, the trade in inverter is returned to Sungrow and all other program conditions are met.
  • The voucher has no cash value and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • No refund or partial credit will be issued for any unused, surplus or returned products under this program.
