Saint Stephens College 99.8KW Zero Export Project

Saint Stephens College 99.8KW Zero Export Project

Australian Solar Installation won the tender for the 99kW System for St Stephens College Coomera Queensland.   Michael Percival owning Director of Australian Solar Installations had a lot of highly technical design work to overcome before the installation could be completed.

The network required the system to be Zero Export, there was an existing 15kW on the school, 6kW on the attached kindergarten, and the new array was designed across multiple roofs all, hundreds of meters away from the main meter board. This is where Supply Partners certainly lived up to their name – becoming not just a supplier but also a partner in the project.

Consultancy on the project was from Supply Partners Sales Engineer Dane Muldoon and Technical Director Peter Britten working with Australia Solar Installation to produce single line diagrams, intelligent inverter design, zero export solution including wireless solutions to control the inverters and ensure zero export was achieved.   Peter Britten also visited the site numerous times to help with the installation and aid in setting up the wireless technology as the site required.

“I have been dealing with Supply Partners since their inception and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to any installer. They are much more than just a supplier, with great tech support for non export solutions, and now the emerging battery market.”   Michael Percival – Owning Director, Australian Solar Installations
